A Raw Food Lifestyle! - Where do I begin?
Originally, my interest in whole, natural foods was casual. I delved into a naturalistic diet with the intent to address certain lingering health concerns. Within weeks, several of my significant complaints were no longer an issue. After a few months, with continued physical progress, my informal interest developed into a passion. Now, I proudly proclaim my enthusiasm for raw food and the movement towards a more healthful lifestyle.

A little about myself…
I was born and raised in Munich, Germany until my eleventh birthday. Then my mother moved to America—St. Petersburg, Florida, where I spent my teen years becoming thoroughly “Americanized”. As an adult, I became a business professional in the information technology industry. This led me to a career in import/export, retail management, and ultimately an Account Executive with KLRN-PBS TV station in San Antonio.

Even with my extensive professional obligations, I have always maintained an interest in alternative and holistic healing principals, spending years exploring various energy-healing traditions. Beginning in the late 1990s, I studied Black Hat Sect Feng Shui, under the Honorable Professor Lin at the Divinity College at Harvard. As a professional practitioner, I have continued my practice and studies in many major cities around the U.S.

My healing quest continued through the study of Body Talk™, an energy healing modality that consults with the body’s innate wisdom via biofeedback. This communication process provides the practitioner with a better understanding of the seeker’s priorities in his/her own healing processes. Frequently, we find ourselves thinking one thing, and doing something very different. Psych-K assists in clarifying issues and self-limiting beliefs. This healing modality rewrites the brain’s software and modifies resulting behaviors.

My most recent exploration has been with my body’s response to food. This journey brought me face to face with one of the pioneers in the Raw Food Movement – Alissa Cohen. As I mentioned earlier, my interest started as a casual exploration and now quickly has developed into a personal passion. Now, I am a certified Living on Live Food Chef , the first in San Antonio, Texas.

I have chosen to continue my education in raw vegan foods and have graduated as a Gourmet Raw Food Chef at the esteemed Living Light Culinary Art Institute in Ft. Bragg, CA.

I am eager to share my personal experiences and knowledge with you!
